Terms and Conditions

All orders placed on www.bestforpets.co.uk (“the Website”) are subject to these Terms & Conditions (“the Conditions”).  Please read them carefully and keep a copy for future reference.  By clicking the appropriate tick box and submitting your order for goods (“the Order”) you are stating that you have read and accept these Conditions.

These Conditions do not constitute an offer and no contract is made until Best for Pets has processed the Order.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

  1. Whilst every effort has been made to reflect product colours as accurately as possible, due to differences in monitors, Best for Pets is unable to guarantee that the colour you will see on your monitor will accurately reflect the true colour of the product.
  2. All descriptions, specifications and photographs contained on this Website are provided for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the products described in them.  They will not form part of the contract with you and no warranty or guarantee shall be expressed or implied in the contract with you in this regard.

PRICE

  1. On submission of the Order, payment will be taken immediately by Best for Pets.  Once the Order has been received by Best for Pets, an automated e-mail response will be sent to you confirming the details of the Order but this does not complete the contract.
  2. The price of the goods and the cost of post and packing within the UK are displayed on the Website.  However, Best for Pets reserves the right to change any advertised price before it accepts the Order.  Best for Pets will inform you of this and give you the option of cancelling.
  3. All prices displayed on the Website are inclusive of VAT.

PAYMENT

  1. Payment can be made by Visa or Mastercard credit cards, Switch or Delta debit cards as well as Maestro, Solo and American Express cards.  Payment can also be made by cheque.  Please allow 5 working days for cheque payments to clear.
  2. Best for Pets uses PayPal to process all credit and debit card transactions to offer customers a fast and secure way to make payment.
  3. Best for Pets accepts payment in UK Sterling.

DELIVERY

  1. Best for Pets will aim to dispatch the goods to the postal address you have given within 5 working days of receipt of the Order.  Orders under £15.00 will be sent using first class Royal Mail postage and will be charged at £1.25.  Orders over £15.00 will be sent using Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery and will be charged at £4.95.  This service requires a signature on arrival.  Every effort will be made to deliver the products within this timescale, however inevitably delays occasionally occur.  Best for Pets will contact you if delivery is delayed for any reason.  If you have not heard from Best for Pets and you have not received your goods within two weeks from the date of placing the Order, please contact Best for Pets in writing.
  2. A delivery note will be included with your goods.  This will include the address for complaints and information about the returns policy.  You become owner of the goods in the Order when they are delivered to you.
  3. Best for Pets shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in delivery of goods in the Order or for any damage or defect to goods delivered which is caused by an event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

AVAILABILITY

  1. In the event that any item you have ordered is out of stock, Best for Pets will inform you as soon as possible and give you an estimated delivery time.  If Best for Pets is unable to dispatch any item with 28 days from the date of your Order, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund.  Best for Pets will not be obliged to offer additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

RETURNS POLICY

  1. Best for Pets will offer a refund or exchange (if stock available) on any unused goods (faulty or otherwise) within 14 days of the date of dispatch given in your delivery note.
  2. To withdraw the Order you must return the goods to Best for Pets Ltd, 15 Mancroft Road, Caddington, Beds LU1 4EJ.  All goods must be returned in their original packaging with all labels intact and accompanied by the original delivery note.  You will receive a returns form with each order, which must be completed and returned with the goods.
  3. In the event of an effective cancellation by you, Best for Pets will refund the price of the goods as soon as is reasonably possible.  You are responsible for any return delivery charges.  Best for Pets will reimburse the postage paid when returning faulty goods only.  If you require an exchange on a faulty item and replacement stock is available, you will not be charged again for delivery.  Please note that all refunds and exchanges must be made through our website.  Best for Pets is unable to accept any item for refund if it has been damaged in transit.  Please note that Best for Pets will be unable to refund for goods returned to us, which are lost in the post.  It is advisable to send returns by courier, recorded or special delivery, obtain a proof of posting certificate and arrange the necessary compensation cover for the goods.
  4. Nothing in these Conditions will affect your statutory rights.

  1. Unless otherwise stated any correspondence or notice required in these Conditions is to be sent to info@bestforpets.co.uk if from you to Best for Pets and will be sent to the e-mail address which you give if to be sent by Best for Pets to you.
  2. These Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear all disputes arising in connection with these Conditions.

INTERPRETATION

  1. “Best for Pets” means The Best for Pets company registered in England & Wales: company number 5768493 at registered address 15 Mancroft Road, Caddington, Bedfordshire LU1 4EJ.
  2. “You” and “your” means the person ordering goods under these Conditions on the Website.
